Ready to enter the world of chocolate and other delectable treats?
Indulge in the sweetest mix of chocolate and unique art at the “For Love of Chocolate and Sweet Art Festival” in downtown Escondido on Saturday, February 8. With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, Grand Avenue is the perfect place to treat both your sweetheart and yourself to an afternoon of delight.
Chocolate takes over at 1 p.m. when “Sweet Street” opens at the Maple Street Plaza. Treat yourself and your significant other to a horse and carriage ride and sample the exquisite offerings from local and international chocolatiers, jewelry designers, and other vendors.
The 21 and older crowd can enjoy the exotic chocolates paired perfectly with boutique wines, champagnes, and locally-crafted beers along Grand Avenue’s various tasting locations. The “Perfect Pairing Golden Ticket” is $35 when purchased by 5 p.m. on February 7, and $45 after that. Tickets can be purchased at the event website, or at “Sweet Street” on the day of the event.
The festival encourages responsible participation, and will have designated drivers on hand. The ticket for designated drivers is $20 when purchased by 5 p.m. on February 7, and $30 after that.
Admission to Sweet Street is open to the public of all ages.
