Held in beautiful Downtown San Diego, the Campagnolo GranFondo San Diego features a mass-start, timed Gran Fondo with 4 route options, timed King and Queen of the Mountain, The Bike & Fitness Expo, challenging and picturesque routes, outstanding Campagnolo ride support, and delicious food on course.

Open to all levels of cyclists with 4 Route Options: 105, 56, 34, 20 Miles. No matter which your distance you choose, you will be Rewarded with the Full GranFondo Experience.
Helmets are required at this event and must be worn at all times while on the bike. They need to be in good working order and meet current ANSI helmet codes. This ride is held under the rules of the road. Riders must obey all rules of the road and posted road signs. All riders must carry tools for changing tires, extra inner tubes or sew-ups, and a tire pump. Riders are expected to change their own flats; however, mechanical support is available for more complex issues. Aero bars are allowed for this event; however, they may not be used when riding in a pack or drafting another rider. Because of crowded conditions at the start of the ride, the use the aero bars during the first eight miles of the ride is not permitted.
The mission of Campagnolo GranFondo San Diego is to draw cyclists from around the globe to enjoy the best riding that San Diego has to offer. It is a charity focused event and use its love for the Italian Gran Fondo to raise money and awareness for local causes.

Activity: Operation Rebound funds equipment, training and travel expenses that can help our injured troops and first responders to harness the healing power of sport – whether the goal is to win Paralympic gold or just run around the block.
Military Medical Center Physical Training (MMCPT): Operation Rebound provides structured physical training program for active-duty service members recovering from permanent physical injuries at military medical centers. CAF works with resident prosthetists, recreational therapists, and medical hold unit commanders to provide opportunities for physical training that is in compliance with discrete rehabilitation programs and applicable military regulations.
Sports Clinics: Are held throughout the year at military medical centers and other locations in the community. Expert coaches and CAF elite athletes provide instruction and mentorship to introduce beginner athletes to a range of sports including bicycling, handcycling, running, swimming, basketball and other sports.
